The District is coordinating a three watershed surveys this
spring, and volunteers are needed.
Locally-led
watershed surveys have been used successfully throughout Maine to
document threats to water quality. Volunteers will receive
classroom training on water quality issues, identifying erosion, and
documenting sites, and will also receive training in the field from
a technical professional.
Volunteers are essential to the success of these projects. If you can give up a couple hours on
your Saturday, please let us know!
Below is information about the upcoming
surveys.
