Stormwater Education Program
Funded by the Interlocal Stormwater Work Group, this program provides water education to
14 communities in the Greater Portland Area.  Topics include watersheds, water movement, nonpoint source pollution & solutions, water quality testing, cumulative impact, and stormwater specifics.

Activities are interactive and interdisciplinary, connect students to their local water resources, and teach students about how they can make a difference in improving their local water bodies.  Click here for a sample list of offerings.

Both in-class and outdoor activities are part of this program, and lessons are tailored to the needs and curriculum standards of teachers with whom we work.

If you are interested in participating in this program during the 2008-9 school year, please contact Sarah Plummer, Education Coordinator.
