Green Infrastructure and Low Impact Development
October 7th | 12:30-2pm
Green Infrastructure (GI) and Low Impact Development (LID) are becoming common requirements for new development. This webinar will take a look into the difference between GI and LID and how these differences pertain to Chapter 500 of the Maine Stormwater Management Law and Chapter 10 of the Maine Stormwater Best Management Practices Manual definitions. Case studies will be presented that examine the effectiveness of GI designs for flood control under multiple rain events with varying length and severity, different applications for GI, and emerging technology for reducing chlorides.
