Thank you to everyone who participated in Household Hazardous Waste Days this month across Maine. We were joined by EcoMaine and Think Blue Maine in Yarmouth for their Household Hazardous Waste Day, and were thrilled to have connected with so many folks from Yarmouth about hazardous waste and the dangers posed by improperly (and illegally) dumping household waste into storm drains or nearby waterbodies. By properly disposing of household hazardous waste, you help keep our stormwater free of dangerous chemicals and help to protect vulnerable local watersheds. Let’s hear it for clean water!
