Gardening for Stormwater in South Portland

Our AmeriCorps member, South Portland Sustainability Office, South Portland Water Resource Protection, and South Portland Parks and Recreation came together to plant some small trees at the South Portland library to help absorb and filter stormwater runoff.

The plants were placed adjacent to the pollinator garden that was recently installed by 100 Resilient Yards volunteers.
