Thank you

Now that the school year is coming to an end, we wanted to say thank you to everyone who has helped to make it so successful. Kids throughout southern Maine became more connected to their local ecosystems with activities like raising trout, searching for macroinvertebrates, taking soil samples, measuring water quality, making pervious pavers, and building bee houses.

We reached over 3,300 students, from kindergarten to high school, in 26 schools and 16 communities!

We appreciate all of the amazing teachers and students who we are lucky enough to work with.

Thank you to all our community partners including the Portland Water District, the City of Portland, the Interlocal Stormwater Working Group, GZA, Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, and all of those who have helped to fund our education program.
