Greely is preparing for Trout!
Greely Middle School 6th graders learned what makes water healthy and worked together to identify what Maine’s #1 water pollutant is! In a few weeks, two of these classrooms will be receiving brook trout eggs to raise and will continue to use their knowledge to help their fish survive in the classroom and in the wild.
These lessons are funded by the Portland Water District and led by the Cumberland County Soil & Water Conservation District.
