Kristie Munson Joins CCSWCD as District Educator

The District is pleased to announce Kristie Munson as the new District Educator.

Starting this month, Kristie has already hit the ground running by leading natural resource lessons in local schools. Her primary responsibilities focus on classroom and community education surrounding local ecology and natural resources.

Prior to joining CCSWCD, Kristie was involved in environmental education and sustainable agriculture in various places across the U.S. and abroad. She has dual Master of Education and Master of Science degrees in Environmental Education and Resource Management, respectively, from Slippery Rock University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
