Rain Garden Maintenance

Our District office parking lot keeps getting better! After adding an informational kiosk, we took to the rain garden for some maintenance work.

A rain garden is a garden that lies below the level of its surroundings, designed to absorb rainwater that runs off of a surface such as a patio, parking lot, or roof. Native shrubs, perennials, and flowers populate our rain garden, and AmeriCorp Member Griffen Northrop was on hand to provide some rain garden maintenance work before the snow comes. Thanks, Griff!
