Parking Lot Visitors

Since redesigning our office parking lot to treat stormwater and add demonstration gardens, we’ve had an uptick in visitors! We have a new kiosk built by Boy Scout Troop #73 located between the pervious paver parking spots. Check it out for District program information and a map of the Mountain Division/Sebago to the Sea trail that runs behind our office.

In addition to you, we’re excited to see more wildlife using our parking lot too! Our recent visitors include deer, groundhogs, baby snapping turtles (relocated to a nearby stream), and tons of birds, butterflies, moths, and bees. As we continue to improve our outdoor learning space, we can’t wait to see who visits next!
